Sid Ganis,
Motion Picture Executive and Producer

Mr. Ganis is a highly regarded and experienced executive in the entertainment industry who previously served as President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 2005 through 2009.

Mr. Ganis has also held various leadership positions at Sony Pictures, including Vice Chairman of Columbia Pictures, and President of Worldwide Marketing for Columbia/Tristar Motion Picture Companies. Before joining Sony Pictures, Mr. Ganis served as President of Paramount Pictures’ Motion Picture Group, where he green-lit box office hits such as Ghost and six-time academy award winner Forrest Gump. Mr. Ganis has also served as Senior Vice President at Lucasfilm, working closely with George Lucas on the production and marketing of The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and the first two installments of the Indiana Jones trilogy.

Mr. Ganis currently produces films through Out of the Blue Entertainment, a production company he founded in 1996. Out of Blue Entertainment has enjoyed box office success with productions such as Columbia Pictures’ Big Daddy and Mr. Deeds (both starring Adam Sandler), and the much acclaimed Akeelah and the Bee for Lionsgate. He is currently producing the Pan Am television series for airing beginning this fall on ABC-TV.

Peter Farrelly,
Director, Screenwriter and Producer

Mr. Farrelly is a successful director, screenwriter and producer known for working with top Hollywood talent to create a string of hit films over the years.

Mr. Farrelly’s numerous film credits include: Dumb and Dumber (starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels); Kingpin (starring Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid and Bill Murray); There’s Something About Mary (starring Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon and Ben Stiller); Me Myself & Irene (starring Jim Carrey and Renée Zellweger); Shallow Hal (starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black); Stuck on You (starring Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear); Fever Pitch (starring Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon); The Heartbreak Kid (starring Ben Stiller and Malin Akerman); and Hall Pass (starring Owen Wilson, Jason Sedeikis, Jenna Fisher and Christina Applegate).

Mr. Farrelly continues to be active in Hollywood, and has four additional films slated for release over the next two years. In addition to Mr. Farrelly’s many films, he has also directed TV commercials and is a published novelist.

Ira Rubenstein,
EVP at Twentieth Century Fox

Mr. Rubenstein is the Executive Vice President, Digital Marketing at Twentieth Century Fox, overseeing all digital activities for the domestic marketing group. Prior to Fox, he led Marvel Entertainment’s digital distribution strategy across all media and platforms as Executive Vice President of Global Digital Media Group from 2008 to 2011.

Before joining Marvel, Mr. Rubenstein served as Executive Vice President of Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, overseeing the establishment of Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment's on-demand movie initiative to offer motion pictures via digital delivery for broadband Internet users, which ultimately became Movielink, a groundbreaking partnership among five studios.

Mr. Rubenstein has also served as Vice President of Marketing at Columbia TriStar and began his career as Manager of Film Research and New Media for Twentieth Century Fox.

Theo Kalomirakis,
Founder of TK Theaters

Mr. Kalomirakis is recognized internationally as “the Father of Home Theater” - an industry he helped inspire and define. Mr. Kalomirakis’ innovative private entertainment environments have won numerous awards, including CEDIA's Best Dedicated Home Theater design award every year he entered - a total of nine times. Mr. Kalomirakis was also awarded the CEDIA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.

After designing and building his own private theater, The Roxy, which was first published in the New York Times and USA Today, Mr. Kalomirakis went on to design the finest private theaters for movie stars, sports legends, world leaders, etc. His reputation for outstanding design is legendary throughout the world.

Mr. Kalomirakis studied film making at the Athens Film School and directed his first short feature with a grant from the Fulbright Foundation. His films won a number of prizes in international film festivals and secured for him a scholarship at New York University. After graduating from NYU with a Masters' Degree in Film and Television, Mr. Kalomirakis became an acclaimed art director, first for Time Warner, and later for Forbes Inc.

Lauren Fryefield,
SVP of Marketing at Netjets Inc.

Ms. Fryefield is a seasoned marketing executive with over 20 years of experience developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that build brand awareness, acquire new customers, and generate loyalty.

Ms. Fryefield has specific expertise marketing luxury products and services to high net worth individuals, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing at NetJets Inc., the worldwide leader in private aviation. While at NetJets, Ms. Fryefield has played an integral role in establishing NetJets as one of the world's most well-known and respected luxury service brands.

Prior to NetJets, Ms. Fryefield held various marketing positions of increasing responsibility over a period of 10 years at American Express in the Consumer Card, Corporate Card, and Merchant Services divisions. She received her BA in Economics and Organizational Behavior from Brown University and her MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
